Manuel Torres

Manuel Torres is a seasoned reliability specialist with extensive experience in the technology and engineering sectors. Currently serving as a Global Reliability Specialist at WSAudiology since May 2023, Manuel focuses on analyzing failure mechanisms of critical customer complaints and enhancing internal quality controls. Prior to this role, Manuel spent a decade at Seagate Technology as a Senior Reliability Engineer, leading product assurance initiatives for HDD products. Earlier experience includes positions as a Senior Product Engineer at Western Digital, where analytical skills were applied to investigate supplier issues, a Process and Development Engineer at TDK Philippines, responsible for machine qualification and technology development, and a Process Engineer at Fujitsu Computer Products Philippines, where etching processes and yield issues were analyzed. Manuel holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Silliman University, earned between 1996 and 2001.
