Alex Martinez

Alex Martinez, PE, currently serves as a Construction Manager at WSP since September 2024. Prior to this role, Alex was an Area Manager at RMA Group, Inc. from May 2023 to September 2024, and a Structures Representative at Caltrans from July 2020 to April 2023, where responsibilities included construction and engineering inspections, as well as reviewing contract submittals. Alex's experience also includes working as an Engineering Manager at CEMEX, where skills in concrete mix design and troubleshooting were developed, along with a focus on safety initiatives. Additionally, experience as a Project Manager at Ghilotti Construction Company and a Project Engineer at Granite Construction provided a strong foundation in project management and engineering responsibilities. Alex holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, earned in 2013.
