Ed Reams

Ed Reams serves as the News Director at WTKR News 3, the CBS affiliate in Hampton Roads, Virginia, since July 2024. Previously, Ed Reams held the position of Vice President & General Manager at WREX-TV, the NBC station in Rockford, Illinois, from May 2021 to July 2024. Prior experience includes roles as News Director at WKOW TV 27 in Madison, Wisconsin, and Assistant News Director at WISN-TV in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Ed Reams also directed news operations for WHSV-TV, overseeing multiple locations in Virginia. Earlier career roles include reporting and anchoring at WDSU-TV and various reporter and photojournalist positions across several stations. Ed Reams holds a B.S. in Journalism from Radford University and has completed advanced training in broadcast management and leadership through various prestigious programs.
