Curtis Akers

Curtis Akers is a skilled videographer and editor with a solid background in broadcast journalism. Currently employed at the Virginia Economic Development Partnership since August 2023, Curtis brings extensive experience from previous positions, including Assistant Chief Photographer and Photojournalist at WTVR-TV from August 2019 to August 2023, and Photojournalist roles at WAVY-TV 10 and WTHI TV10. Curtis holds an Associate's degree in Broadcast Journalism from Vincennes University, where studies occurred from 2011 to 2013.
