Ivan Smirnov

Ivan Smirnov is a professional with extensive experience in quantitative research and analysis, holding positions at various firms, including a current role as a Member of the Technical Staff at xAI and a previous position as a Partner and Quantitative Researcher at a Private Trading Firm. Ivan has also worked at Susquehanna International Group, LLP as a Quantitative Gardener and Quantitative Researcher, as well as a Quantitative Analyst at IFD Kapital. Earlier in academic pursuits, Ivan served as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Alberta. Educationally, Ivan earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mathematical Finance from the University of Alberta and completed studies at the New Economic School.
