Sreekanth Pothanis

Sreekanth Pothanis is an experienced technical professional with a strong background in software engineering and cloud technologies. Currently serving as a Member of Technical Staff at xAI since November 2024, Sreekanth is engaged in developing the world's largest AI supercomputer. Prior to this role, Sreekanth was a Senior Engineering Manager at Cruise, overseeing critical cloud platforms for autonomous vehicle development from October 2022 to October 2024. At eBay, Sreekanth held several positions, including Senior Engineering Manager, where responsibilities included traffic engineering and service mesh implementation for eBay cloud, and designing a scalable federated access layer for Kubernetes deployments. Additional experience includes software engineering roles at NextLabs, LSU, and other organizations, complemented by a Master’s degree in Computers from Louisiana State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from JNTU, Hyderabad, India.
