Ting Chen

Ting Chen currently serves as a Member of Technical Staff at xAI, having joined in October 2023. Prior to this role, Ting Chen worked as a Research Scientist at Google DeepMind from April 2023 to October 2023 and at Google Brain from May 2019 to April 2023. During a previous stint at Google Brain, Ting Chen began as an intern in mid-2018, after completing a research internship at Google AI earlier that same year and a software engineering internship at Google in 2017. Additional experience includes internships at Yahoo as an Intern Research Scientist in 2016 and two research internships at NEC Laboratories America, Inc. from 2014 to 2015. Ting Chen holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from UCLA and another Ph.D. in Computer Science from Northeastern University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications.
