Yuhuai Wu

Yuhuai (Tony) Wu is a co-founder at xAI since April 2023, bringing extensive experience in research and development in artificial intelligence and mathematics. Previous roles include serving as a Research Scientist (RS) at Google from July 2021 to April 2023 and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Stanford University during the same period. Additionally, Yuhuai contributed to projects at DeepMind as a Research Scientist Intern on AlphaStar, and conducted research at OpenAI, Mila - Quebec Artificial Intelligence Institute, and various academic institutions. Yuhuai holds a PhD in Machine Learning from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of New Brunswick.
