Carter Kitterman

Carter Kitterman, EIT, has been functioning as a Staff Engineer in Renewable Projects Development at Xcel Energy since January 2020, where responsibilities include building project estimates for wind, solar, and BESS projects and assisting with due diligence on capital projects. Prior experience includes a Project Engineer II role at the same company and a Mechanical Engineering Internship focused on solar technology research. Additional internships include a Technology Development Intern position at Optum and a Player Services role at Rush Creek Golf Club. Earlier work experience also encompasses traffic data collection while at SRF Consulting Group. Carter Kitterman holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota and is currently pursuing an MBA at the University of St. Thomas, expected to graduate in May 2027.
