Matthew Gabriel

Matthew Gabriel is an experienced professional in the field of GIS and program management, currently serving as a Program Manager for the XTS IDIQ contract at Xcellent Technology Solutions since May 2024. Prior to this role, Matthew held various positions including GIS Solution Architect at Locana and Senior Software Engineer at Cherokee Nation Businesses. With extensive experience dating back to 1988, Matthew has a diverse background that includes technical leadership in ArcGIS deployments at Schneider Electric, consulting roles in multiple industries at Farragut Systems and Spatial Business Systems, and management of GIS teams in federal and commercial projects at Rust E&I/Earth Tech. Matthew earned a BS in Geology/Earth Science from The University of New Mexico and has contributed significantly to GIS application development throughout a career spanning over three decades.
