R. Kent Buchanan

R. Kent Buchanan is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in technology and management across various industries, including aerospace, telecommunications, and healthcare. Currently serving as a Member of the Board of Directors - Emeritus at Xenesis since April 2018, Buchanan has also held prominent board positions at companies such as Authentec and Terion. Buchanan’s previous roles include Chief Technology Officer and Chief Growth Officer at Harris Corporation, where responsibilities included managing a significant R&D budget and overseeing strategic initiatives. Additional leadership experience spans executive positions at Motorola Solutions and GE Healthcare, as well as management consulting at Bain & Company. R. Kent Buchanan holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy.
