Varun Kumar

Varun Kumar is a seasoned software developer with extensive experience in frontend and backend development across various companies. Currently at Xeneta since February 2022, Varun leads frontend development projects visualizing ocean freight data using D3.js and TypeScript. Prior experience includes frontend development for IoT device management at JIG-SAW US, along with backend work utilizing Python and AWS services. Varun began a career with a software developer internship at JIG-SAW US, focusing on IoT data management and security. Earlier roles include R&D intern at the Industrial Technology Research Institute, research intern at Gwangju Institute of Science & Technology, and contributions as a Google Summer of Code Developer at FOSSASIA.
