Yasmine Asselah

PHD Student at XLIM

Yasmine Asselah is a PhD student at XLIM since October 2021, focusing on new approaches for the development of quantum communications based on hollow fibers. Prior experience includes an internship at C2N - Centre de Nanosciences et de Nanotechnologies, where Yasmine explored physical properties related to topology in semiconductor cavities, and a position at LULI, where an investigation into complex X-ray emission from highly charged Mg ions in laser-produced plasma was conducted. Additional internships involved studying chaos from classical to quantum systems at the Centre de physique théorique and providing physics tutoring at Aix-Marseille Université. Yasmine holds a Master 2 in light, matter, and interactions from Sorbonne Université, a Master 1 in fundamental physics from the same institution, a bachelor's degree in physics and modeling from Aix-Marseille University, and a bachelor's degree in fundamental physics from Université des Sciences et de la Technologie 'Houari Boumediène'.
