Clare Bachman

Clare Bachman currently serves as the Director of Grants and Incentives at Xos Trucks, where responsibilities include leading strategy and execution for grants and incentives, enhancing financial support for customers and projects. Previously, as the Funding and Incentives Development Manager at CALSTART, Clare successfully managed the Cal Fleet Advisor program, facilitating over 800 commercial fleets' transitions to zero-emission transportation. Additional experience includes securing $4 million in federal funding for a zero-emission workforce development center as a Development Advisor at the United Harbor Area Association and advocacy outreach for clean transportation at Breathe Southern California. Clare's early career involved mentoring underserved youth and engaging in political campaigns, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Studies from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
