Baran Ozkan, CAMS, is a seasoned entrepreneur and product leader with extensive experience in the technology and financial sectors. Currently serving as Co-Founder and CEO of Flagright since January 2022, Baran specializes in developing AI-native solutions for financial institutions to combat financial crime and enhance AML compliance. Baran has previously held significant roles, including Director of Product at TransferGo and Senior Product Manager at Forto, with responsibilities spanning user-facing platforms, fraud prevention, and real-time business analytics. Additionally, Baran is an active angel investor in multiple startups, including Polo and Berry. Baran's educational background includes a Master of Science in Engineering Management from the University of South Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Bilkent University, supplemented by entrepreneurial training from Y Combinator.
