Dannie Lau

General Manager, Networked Audio Division at Xperi

Dannie Lau has extensive experience in the audio technology industry, currently serving as the General Manager of the Networked Audio Division at DTS since July 2012, where responsibilities include P&L management, overseeing the Play-Fi product line, and leading sales, marketing, product management, engineering, and manufacturing operations. Prior to DTS, Dannie Lau was the CEO and Founder of Phorus, where Play-Fi technology was developed and launched. Previous roles at Harman International include Vice President positions focused on consumer systems architecture, global platform development, and product development, achieving significant revenue growth and managing international teams. Early in their career, Dannie Lau founded PhatNoise, Inc., which secured substantial revenue from major automotive clients and received multiple awards, before its acquisition by Harman International. Dannie Lau holds multiple advanced degrees, including Executive MBAs from UCLA Anderson School of Management and the National University of Singapore, along with a Master’s and Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from UCLA.
