Tanj Bennett

Tanj Bennett is an experienced analyst currently working at SemiAnalysis since July 2024 and serving as an advisor at Xscape Photonics Inc since November 2023. Tanj has been a managing partner at Avant-Gray LLC since March 2021, focusing on algorithmic silicon blocks with an emphasis on low energy operations, and also holds the title of chief scientist, specializing in maskless lithography technologies. Prior experience includes a substantial role as a partner SDE at Microsoft from 2006 to 2021 and managing partner positions at Ideopraxis LLC from 2002 to 2006. Tanj also invested in Lanwerx from 2002 to 2005 and worked as a staff engineer at Borland from 1988 to 1994, contributing to various software development projects.
