Rachael A. Smith

Rachael A. Smith, MSN, RN, CEN, CCRN, CPEN, CNE, NPD-BC, TCRN, currently serves as a Nursing Professional Development Specialist in Emergency Services at Yale New Haven Health since September 2023 and is the Director at the Emergency Nurses Association since December 2022. Rachael has extensive experience in nursing education, having been a Professor and Assistant Professor of Nursing at Three Rivers Community College from September 2017 to September 2023. Rachael's clinical background includes roles as an RN at Middlesex Health and The William W. Backus Hospital, and various positions at Hartford Hospital and Natchaug Hospital, along with earlier experience as a Pharmacy Technician at Rite Aid Pharmacy. Rachael holds a Master of Science in Nursing Education from Sacred Heart University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Widener University.
