Alexandra Daum

Alexandra Daum currently serves as the Associate Vice President for New Haven Affairs and University Properties at Yale University, a position held since 2024. Prior to this role, Alexandra was the Commissioner at the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development from March 2020 to December 2023, and also held the position of Deputy Commissioner there. Additional experience includes serving as Principal at Field Properties (2019-2020), Senior Development Manager at NHR Group (2018-2019), and Development Associate at Trammell Crow Residential (2016-2018). Earlier in the career, Alexandra worked as a Consultant at Bain & Company (2014-2016) and interned at The White House with a focus on the Office of Public Engagement (2013). Other roles include Operations Fellow at Obama for America (2012) and Assistant Merchandiser at Ralph Lauren (2010-2012). Alexandra holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and an A.B. in Linguistics from Harvard University, alongside an education at Groton School.
