Chaz Okada

Chaz Okada is currently a PhD student at Yale University, beginning this role in August 2024. Before this, Chaz worked as an Electrical Engineer at HarcoSemco from April 2023 to August 2024, and as a Shop, Farm, and Ranch Worker at Vaughn Concrete Products Inc from September 2020 to April 2023, focusing on hands-on tasks and fabrication. Chaz has held multiple positions, including President of the Connecticut Alpha Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society from March 2020 to March 2021, where efforts were directed towards fostering a strong engineering community at Yale. Additionally, Chaz interned at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Newport in the summer of 2020, developing an embedded Linux-based operating system. Other roles include equipment management at Yale University and data analytics internships where skills in Python and marketing solutions were enhanced. Chaz earned a degree from Yale University from 2017 to 2021 and studied Japanese language and literature at Princeton In Ishikawa in 2018.
