Mark Aronson currently serves as the Deputy Director and Chief Conservator at the Yale Center for British Art, a position held since December 2020. Previously, Mark was the Head Painting Conservator at the Yale Center for British Art from September 2007 to 2012 and worked as the Chief Conservator at the Yale University Art Gallery from 1994 to 2007. Mark's academic background includes a Master's degree in Conservation of Historic and Artistic Objects from the University of Delaware (1983-1986) and a Bachelor’s degree in the History of Art from Reed College (1974-1979).
