Sumi Vora is a Mathematics and Computer Science undergraduate at Pomona College, expected to graduate in May 2025. Currently serving as a REU Math Researcher at Yale University, Sumi investigates structural properties of well-edge-dominated graphs. Experience includes multiple teaching assistant roles across mathematics, computer science, and physics subjects at Pomona College, and participation in various NLP and machine learning projects at P-ai, focusing on event organization and AI-based applications. Sumi has also conducted research at Rutgers University’s DIMACS, contributed to policy writing for the Claremont Journal of Law and Public Policy, interned in web design, and held leadership positions in environmental advocacy and speech and debate initiatives. Academic achievements include an impressive GPA of 4.54 and a SAT score of 1550 from Stargate High School, where Sumi graduated as valedictorian.
