Alana Lerner

Alana Lerner is an experienced education and program management professional, currently serving as the Associate Director Program Facilitator (National) and Associate Director of Program at Year Up since September 2022. Previously, Alana held the position of Director of Curriculum and Instruction at Urban Alliance, and prior to that, worked at Year Up as Employment Placement Manager, where responsibilities included teaching career development, job search coaching, and securing job placements for graduates. Alana has also served as Director of Academic Programs & Alumni Support at Squash and Education Alliance, overseeing programs for over 2,000 students, and held the role of Academic Director at StreetSquash. Earlier experience includes teaching high school sciences with Teach For America. Alana's educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Neuroscience from Columbia University and a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education from Arizona State University.
