Jeryl Contemprato

Jeryl Contemprato is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in engineering leadership and technical project management. Currently at Yelp since January 2012, Jeryl has established technical roadmaps and led teams in Ads event processing and commerce engineering. Prior roles include Owner and Software Engineer at Ocean Beach Labs, where Jeryl developed mobile applications and led a developer team, and Engineering Lead at Baynote, overseeing the design of consumer web applications. Jeryl's early career includes positions at Intel Corporation focusing on media management applications and as Communications Officer in the United States Navy. Jeryl holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
