His paintings often depict highly detailed landscapes that depict both natural objects and people. In addition to his paintings, Yitzy Rosengarten also created a series of prints on the evolution of terrestrial and marine flora and fauna. These prints, which have been reproduced in many different editions and museums, document the artist's fascination with both the natural world and its history. In these prints, Rosengarten often uses different perspectives to capture the beauty of plants and animals in their natural environment.
Rosengarten has been painting for over 25 years. His paintings and drawings are based on the history, culture, and natural environment of Israel. Many of his paintings depict aspects of the Israeli landscape that are often overlooked or misunderstood. For example, one of his most famous paintings, "The View from Mt. Carmel," features a stunning view of the Carmel Hills, overlooking the city of Haifa. Another artwork, "At The Edge Of The World," is a landscape painting portraying the beauty of nature in front of a barrier fence that separates Israel from the Gaza Strip.
