Jim Maloney

Jim Maloney is the current advisor at YL Ventures. Jim has also worked with Credit Genie, World Economic Forum, and SoFi. Jim has been in the business field for many years and has a lot of experience with different companies. Jim was responsible for enhancing and delivering all aspects of an enterprise-wide information security program at AvidXchange. Also involved in privacy, enterprise risk management, data governance and IT architecture. The scope of the security program includes protecting internal data, externally sourced data, internal business systems, and client-facing systems, in support of providing fast, convenient and secure business-to-business payment services.

Jim Maloney has a BSME from Marquette University, an MS in Engineering from Northwestern University, and an MBA in Technology Management from City University of Seattle. Jim also has a certification from the International Association of Privacy Professionals in Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E) and Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US). Additionally, they have a certification from the ISC2 in Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
