Teri Green

Teri Green has extensive experience in youth programming and mentoring within various organizations. Currently serving as the YDS Program Director at the YMCA of Greater Kansas City since January 2017, Teri oversees all youth programs, focusing on the Launch Pad After School Program for middle and high school students. Previous roles include Summer Camp Site Director for the SPARK Summer Program and Program Coordinator at Crowd Systems. Teri also contributed as an Usher and Security member for KC Poet Tree and as a Mentor and Coach for young poets, emphasizing guidance in the arts. Additionally, Teri served as a Poetry and Rhymes Instructor at the Hip Hop Academy of Kansas City from 2006 to 2013. Education includes studies at the University of Missouri-Kansas City and attaining a CNA degree in Nursing.
