Kevin Mietlicki

Kevin Mietlicki is currently a Board Member at YMCA of Ithaca & Tompkins County. Kevin has over 23 years of experience in financial services and has held various leadership positions in the industry. Kevin has used their vast experience to assist clients with their financial, accounting and regulatory needs.

From December 2014 to October 2016, Kevin was a Financial Industry Consultant with Robert Half. In this role, they were responsible for rewriting bank Capital Policies, Liquidity Policies and Stress Testing Scenarios to comply with new BASEL III rules. Kevin also prepared the Consolidated Annual Report for the Bank Holding Company and administered a program for timely review, updating and training of all bank regulatory policies. Additionally, they created new accounting policies and procedures and led the bank migration to a new core processor.

At Alternatives Federal Credit Union, Kevin served as the CFO and was responsible for auditing medical insurance contractual payments, managing and mentoring many accounting staff team members, running month-end and year-end general ledger closings and preparing financial reporting for board of directors, auditors and regulators.

As Compliance Manager at Citizens National Bank of Connecticut, Kevin coordinated Safety & Soundness exams with federal bank regulators and provided financial analysis of revenue and expense variances for review during preparation of new annual budget.

Kevin has also held positions as Controller at 1st National Bank of Scotia, Acting CFO at Genesee Valley Federal Credit Union and

Kevin Mietlicki has an MBA in finance from the University at Buffalo and a Bachelor of Science in business administration and management from the University at Albany, SUNY. Kevin also has credit union development educator certification from the NCUF and NAFCU certified compliance officer and risk manager certification from the NAFCU.
