Lauren Rucker

Lauren Rucker currently serves as the Director of Development at the YMCA of South Hampton Roads, a position held since September 2024. Prior to this role, Lauren Rucker worked at The Up Center from December 2019 to September 2024, progressing from Development Manager to Major Gifts Manager. Earlier in the career, Lauren Rucker was employed as a Philanthropy Specialist at the Girl Scout Council of Colonial Coast from August 2016 to November 2019. Lauren Rucker holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from Old Dominion University, attained between 2012 and 2013, and an Associate of Science degree in Social Sciences from Tidewater Community College, completed from 2009 to 2012.
