Dan Robbins

Dan Robbins is the current director at the YMCA of the Blue Water Area. Prior to their work with the YMCA, Robbins had a long and successful career with the US Army. Robbins served in various leadership positions within the Army, most notably as Senior Executive Leader/Director/Command Sergeant Major and as Senior Leader Management/First Sergeant.

As Senior Executive Leader/Director/Command Sergeant Major, Robbins was responsible for the training, conduct, and leadership development of 800 personnel. Dan prepared and inspected training events, provided resources and managed all aspects of leadership and training management. Additionally, Robbins built solid organizational leadership teams committed to excellence and maintained professional relationships. Dan also conducted interviews for promotions and held weekly meetings to manage administrative actions and tasks.

As Senior Leader Management/First Sergeant, Robbins was responsible for planning, coordinating, and conducting all organizational events. Dan demanded a high state of mental and physical fitness and discipline from all members of their team and was known for their high standards of conduct and operational readiness.

Throughout their career, Robbins has proven himself to be an excellent leader and manager. Their experience in both the private and public sector make him uniquely qualified to lead the YMCA of the Blue Water Area.

Dan Robbins pursued a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts from Excelsior University and an Associate of Arts in Business Management from Barstow Community College.
