We are a charity serving communities across London, Essex and Kent. We provide supported housing, children's services, health & wellbeing facilities as well as catering and spaces for hire. We work across a number of boroughs including Havering, Barking and Dagenham, Dartford, Greenwich and Ashford. We work from the following locations; Romford, Dartford, Greenwich and Ashford.

Every night we provide supported accommodation for homeless people locally, providing young people with opportunities to develop the necessary life skills to find work and live independently. We also provide a wide range of services in the local community; these include children’s, youth and family work and health & wellbeing facilities.

The Community Engagement Team at YMCA Thames Gateway Group focuses on fostering relationships with local communities to ensure that all individuals have access to vital services and support. This team works to empower residents through programs that promote engagement and participation, facilitates dialogue between the organization and the community, and oversees initiatives that enhance the quality of life for residents in the areas served. By actively engaging with various stakeholder groups, they aim to build strong, sustainable networks that support the charitable mission of inclusivity and personal development.
