Dean Broadley

Dean Broadley is a seasoned design professional currently serving as the Head of Product Design at Yoco since September 2021. In addition, Dean holds a position as a Judge for The Webby Awards and is the Founder of Designing Humans. Dean has been involved with the Design Leadership Forum as a member since December 2018, focusing on advancing design leadership practices. Dean's leadership experience includes serving as President and Vice President of IxDA and being on the Board of Directors until January 2024. Former roles include Executive Head of Design at Vodafone, Executive Design Director and Creative Director at Barclays Africa Group Limited, and Lead Product & UX Designer at Mxit. Dean also owned Dotcraft from June 2013 to October 2021 and held the position of Product Experience Manager at Kagiso Media. Educational achievements include a BA in Creative Brand Communications, Design from AAA School of Advertising and music qualifications from Beau Soliel Music School.
