Yeon Sik Choi currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Yonsei University, focusing on bioelectronic materials in the Bioelectronic Materials Lab since September 2022. Previously, Choi held the position of NIH K99 Postdoctoral Fellow at Northwestern University from December 2018 to August 2022, affiliated with the Querrey Simpson Institute for Bioelectronics under the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute's Pathway to Independence Award. Prior to this, Choi worked as a Senior Researcher and Application Engineer at LG Chem from July 2011 to May 2015, contributing to projects on polymer-based carbon nanotube nanocomposites. Choi's academic background includes a PhD in Materials Science and Metallurgy from the University of Cambridge, as well as both a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Material Science and Engineering from Yonsei University.
