Neil Ling

Neil Ling is an experienced User Experience professional with a strong background in UX design and project management. Currently serving as the Web User Experience Coordinator at York Region since February 2019, Neil leads user-centered design initiatives and oversees the development and implementation of the Region's websites and applications. Previously, Neil held roles as a Senior UX Designer at Certent, Inc. and as a UX/UI Designer for various companies, including Proofpoint and RBC, where skills in wireframing, user testing, and stakeholder communication were utilized. With a master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Birmingham and a bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Shanghai University, Neil brings a solid educational foundation to the field.
