Max Bent is an experienced teaching artist currently working with Young Audiences of Maryland since November 2011, where arts integration is promoted through the unique assembly program "Outside the (Beat)Box." Prior to this, Max co-founded Beatbox.TV in 2003 alongside Berry Blanton, creating a platform for beatboxing tutorials and community engagement. Max also served as a teacher at DuVal High School from August 2004 to June 2008, specializing in Environmental Science and mentoring the DuVal Beat Club. Educational qualifications include a degree in Environmental Science and Policy from the University of Maryland and further studies at Goucher College.
