Sebastian Cardona Cano

Sebastian Cardona Cano is a seasoned psychiatrist and healthcare director specializing in the treatment of eating disorders. Currently serving as a steering group member at Eetstoornissen Netwerk since 2024, Sebastian plays a crucial role in addressing persistent challenges in the care network for eating disorders among children and adolescents. Since July 2014, Sebastian has held the position of Director of Care and Psychiatrist at Youz Rijnmond, leading collaborative efforts within the Eating Disorders Experts Network across multiple locations. Additional roles include serving as a board member of the Nederlandse Academie voor Eetstoornissen and a consultant at the Centrum voor Consultatie en Expertise. Sebastian’s educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine, a Master of Science in Neurosciences from Erasmus University Rotterdam, and a Master in Business Administration from the Rotterdam School of Management.
