Sophie van Leeuwen

Sophie van Leeuwen is a skilled psychologist with substantial experience in clinical settings and research. Currently serving as a psychologist at Youz since May 2022, Sophie also holds the position of communication officer at the Nederlandstalige Vereniging voor Psychotrauma since January 2020. Prior roles include psychologist at GGZ Noord-Holland-Noord and intern at Kenter Jeugdhulp, where Sophie completed a clinical master’s internship at the Kinder- & Jeugdtraumacentrum. Educational qualifications include a Master’s in Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology and a Research Master's in Development and Socialisation in Childhood and Adolescence, both from Utrecht University, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Amsterdam.
