Christine McCourt-Reid

Christine McCourt-Reid is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in external relations, communications, and community engagement. Currently serving as the Director of External Relations at YWCA Edmonton since November 2019, Christine has also held various leadership roles at the Canadian Cancer Society, including Board Chair of the AB/NWT Division and a member of the National Board. Previous positions include Community Engagement Director and Communications Coordinator at Kids Up Front Foundation (Edmonton), and Executive Communications Officer at the University of Alberta’s Students' Union. Christine co-founded olio design and hotrocket studios, demonstrating a robust background in communications and operations. Educational achievements include a Bachelor of Design in Visual Communications from the University of Alberta and a degree in Journalism from MacEwan University.
