Anthony Jackson

Anthony Jackson is an experienced leader in law enforcement and violence intervention, currently serving as the Director of Violence Intervention & Prevention at YWCA USA since June 2023. Prior to this role, Anthony held the position of Chief Of Police at Fort Belvoir Police Department from September 2020 to November 2023, and served as a Senior Law Enforcement Instructor with Advanced Law Enforcement Division from January 2020 to September 2020. In 2015, Anthony founded The Action Jackson Foundation, Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to supporting homeless veterans and disadvantaged individuals through essential services and resources. Anthony's military background includes serving as a Master Sergeant in the Military Police Corps of the US Army from July 1995 to November 2015. Anthony holds a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice/Safety Studies from Saint Leo University, which was earned between 2017 and 2020.
