Samitha Wijesundera

Samitha Wijesundera is a Software Engineer at Zebra Technologies since May 2022, with a background in leadership and collaboration within various IEEE committees. As Vice Chair of Collaborative Activities and Lead of Awards & Recognition in the IEEE Sri Lanka Section from March 2021 to January 2023, Samitha contributed significantly to student engagement. Additional experience includes involvement as a member of the Publicity Team for IEEE Young Professionals Sri Lanka and internships with Vega Innovations and Hitech Solutions Pvt. Ltd. Samitha served as Chairperson and Vice Chair of the IEEE Student Branch at SLIIT while pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from SLIIT from January 2018 to March 2022. Early education was completed at Dharmaraja College - Kandy.
