Joey Yi Zhao

Joey Yi Zhao is an experienced technology professional with a solid background in software engineering and leadership. Currently serving as a Tech Lead at Zeller since May 2020, Joey leads a team in designing and building serverless microservices for payment transactions using TypeScript and Golang. Previous roles include Full Stack Engineer at DiUS, where Joey transitioned services to an AWS cloud-based environment, and full stack development positions at IE Digital and Southbank Software, focusing on mobile applications and open-source MongoDB products. Joey also served as a Tech Lead at ThoughtWorks, promoting advanced methodologies such as Lean and Agile. Earlier experience includes a significant tenure as a Senior Software Engineer at GE Healthcare, specializing in Java development and healthcare applications. Joey holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Beijing Institute of Technology.
