Lian Wei

Lian Wei currently serves as the Director of CMC Program Management at Zenas BioPharma, focusing on combination product development for autoimmune diseases since May 2022. Previously, Lian held the position of Associate Director of CMC Program Management at Apic Bio, Inc., where responsibilities included leading CMC efforts for AAV gene therapy targeting ALS and AAT deficiency from March 2021 to April 2022. Prior experience includes serving as Principal Program Manager at Akebia Therapeutics, overseeing late-stage CMC development and commercial launch of vadadustat from December 2018 to March 2021, and various roles at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, including Associate Project Manager and Associate Scientist in drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics from October 2006 to October 2018. Lian Wei holds a Master of Science in Experimental & Clinical Pharmacology from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Fudan University.
