Jaroslav Šmolík

Jaroslav Šmolík is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in software development and project management. Currently serving as the VP of Engineering at Zenbase since December 2023, Jaroslav has successfully rebuilt automation modules, integrated new systems, and optimized network configurations. Previously, as a Tech Lead at OAK'S LAB, Jaroslav managed a team of six engineers, ensuring high software quality and effective project oversight. During tenure as Backend Tech Lead at Ackee, Jaroslav focused on performance tuning and tech debt management while developing impactful APIs and caching techniques. Early career experiences involved full-stack development at Media33, complemented by a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Web and Software Engineering from the Faculty of Information Technology at CTU in Prague.
