Ted Zhang is a seasoned professional in scientific research and development with extensive experience in the medical technology sector. As Co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer at Allez Health since May 2018, Ted has successfully raised over $30 million in funding and developed a novel continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) wearable product currently seeking regulatory approval in the US and China. Previously, as Chief Scientific Officer at San Meditech, Ted led R&D efforts, upgraded quality systems, managed regulatory filings, and formed strategic partnerships within the diabetes care industry. At Dexcom, Ted developed an innovative CGM sensor with the world's longest implantable usage time. Early career roles included Director of Polymer Development at MediVas, Research Scientist at Cyrano Sciences, and Scientist at BetzDearborn, where significant advancements in polymer and sensor technologies were achieved.
