Ed Lonergan

Ed Lonergan is currently the Executive Chairman at Zep. Prior to this, they served as the Chairman of the Board at DRB Systems, LLC from October 2017 to September 2021. Ed has also held leadership positions at New Mountain Capital, Zep Inc., The Schwan Food Company, Owens Corning, and Chiquita.

Lonergan began their career at Gillette in August 1981, where they eventually became President of Europe. In 2006, they became President & CEO of Diversey Inc., a position they held until 2011. Ed then served as President & CEO of Chiquita from 2012 to 2015.

In October 2014, Lonergan joined the board of directors at The Schwan Food Company, where they also chaired the Internal Investment (Compensation & Finance) Committee. Ed served in this role until February 2019.

Lonergan has been recognized for their work in the business world, receiving the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year Award in 2010 and induction into the Consumer Goods Hall of Fame in 2017.

Ed Lonergan received a BA in Political Science from Union College.
