Sophia de Rooij

Sophia de Rooij currently serves as the Voorzitter Raad van Bestuur at Ziekenhuis Amstelland since February 2021 and holds supervisory board positions at Kanker.nl, Zorg Partners Friesland, and Nivel. Additionally, Sophia has been a Professor of Medicine at University Medical Center Groningen since August 2014, leading the University Center for Geriatric Medicine until 2019. Previous roles include serving as the Voorzitter Raad van Bestuur at Medisch Spectrum Twente and the President of the Dutch Society of Internal Medicine.
