Nele Vanhoof

Nele Vanhoof currently serves as the Directeur HR at Ziekenhuis Geel since October 2022. Prior to this role, Nele was an active member of the bestuursorgaan at Eerstelijnszone Zuiderkempen vzw from 2020 to September 2022, contributing to local governance across six municipalities. From April 2016 to September 2022, Nele held the position of Sectormanager for Burger & Welzijn at Stad Geel, overseeing various services including a residential care center and social services. Nele's earlier career includes multiple roles at Finodis between May 2007 and April 2016, progressing from Portfolio Manager to Service Delivery and Operations Manager. Additionally, Nele worked as a Sales Planning Analyst at British American Tobacco from August 2006 to May 2007. Nele holds a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Antwerp and has recently obtained the Lean Expert certification in Zorg en Welzijn from Zorgondersteuning vzw.
