Yas Maghdouri-White

Yas Maghdouri-White, PhD, currently serves as Development Associate Director at Zimmer Biomet, with prior experience as Scientific Director of Research & Development at Embody, Inc., and as a postdoctoral fellow at both the Old Dominion University Research Foundation and Virginia Commonwealth University. With an extensive background in biomedical and tissue engineering, Yas has designed and executed research experiments, characterized nanofibrous scaffolds, maintained mammalian cell cultures, and assessed cell-extracellular matrix interactions, contributing significantly to scientific publications and conference presentations. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Biomedical/Tissue Engineering and a Master’s in Electrical Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Additionally, Yas has diverse experience in information technology instruction and technician roles, complemented by a strong foundation in both computer engineering and network systems.
