Rick Zimmerman

Rick Zimmerman is an experienced legal professional currently serving as General Counsel at Zocdoc since November 2018, where responsibilities include leading a team focused on commercial and regulatory matters and overseeing the negotiation of commercial agreements. Prior to Zocdoc, Rick held various positions at Garfunkel Wild, P.C., particularly in the Health Care Information and Technology Practice Group, focusing on transactional documents and software licensing for health care technology companies. Earlier roles also include significant internships at the Office of the New York State Attorney General, the United States Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York, and the New York City Department of Buildings. Rick Zimmerman earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree, cum laude, from Brooklyn Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Tufts University.
