Mauricio Mejia

Mauricio Mejia is a seasoned professional in automation and project management, currently serving as a Senior Automation Consultant at Roboyo since October 2022. Previously, Mauricio worked as an Engineering Project Manager at MicroVention-Terumo, where responsibilities included leading an automation team and coordinating various process automation projects. Experience as a Sr. Automation Engineer at Smith & Nephew involved initiating automation projects and conducting ROI analysis. As a Project Engineer - Transfers, Mauricio successfully led the manufacturing transfer of a leading medical device, resulting in significant cost savings. Prior roles included contributions at ElectroPlast and Baxter International Inc., focusing on industrial automation and equipment improvement. Mauricio holds an MBA from EU Business School and an Engineering degree in Mechatronics from Tecnológico de Costa Rica.
